Obituary of Raymond Bully

Of Flint, age 82, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Brians House. The funeral service will take place 10:00am, Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Flint. Fr. Anthony Majchrowski will officiate with burial to follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00am until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the All Saints Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Raymond was born May 11, 1926 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Mary (Johnson) Bully. He worked at Chevy in the Hole for 30 years and was a member of UAW Local # 659. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and Legion of Mary, and also volunteered his time for many years as a Big Brother, and for the Jail Ministries. Ray leaves to cherish his memory two nephews: Robert and David Bigra, six nieces: Joan Miller, Marybeth Schumaker, Carol Figeoli, Diane Brewer, Terri Ludwig, and Yvonne Lesperance, and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
