Nath was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on December 25, 1922, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pietro and Mary (Mazzia) Scigliano. She and Malcolm Edward Thompson were united in marriage in 1949. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 1978. Nath and her husband owned and operated Thompson Lumber and Supply in Mt. Morris for many years. She had a hobby in winemaking “The Italian Way” the way her father taught her. In her free time, Nath spent her time tending to her yard and house. Nath was very close to her family, which included mostly nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many.
Left to cherish her memory are her step-son: Malcolm Thompson Jr. and wife Barbara; special friend: Fran and husband Howard Teeple; and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Malcolm and her 13 brothers and sisters.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thank you to her Caregiver Joleen and Staff at Maple Woods Manor for their exceptional care and support.
