Obituary of Phyllis Maxine Jacob
Age 93, of Mt. Morris, Died November 3, 2017, at Medilidge in Frankenmuth. The funeral service will take place at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris on Friday, December 1, 2017, at 11:00 am, Pastor Ken Sharp to officiate. Phyllis’ family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born June 8, 1924, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Leota (Wagner) Heidebreicht Sr. She and Everette Jacob were united in marriage on October 3, 1942, in Mt. Morris, Phyllis worked at AC (Delco). In the beginning of her career before working at Kaften Drug and Dixie Drug in Mt. Morris. She then became a Tupperware Distributor, spending more than 15 years in the business, before retiring in 1985. Phyllis then retired to Hot Springs, Arkansas, with her husband Everett. Everett died two years after moving to Arkansas. Phyllis stayed in Arkansas, working at the Hot Springs Hilton Spa. She returned to Mt. Morris in 1999. She is a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Mt. Morris.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children: Norman (Margaret) Jacob, Marilyn (Richard) White, Donald (Alice) Jacob and Steven Jacob and Sucki; son-in-law, Michael Hawley; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
