Obituary of Zona Lee Scott
Age 94, of Flint, passed away, August 29, 2017, at Angel Manor. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 noon until 2:00 pm then from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, on Thursday, from 12 noon until time of service.
Zona was born June 23, 1923, in Hickman, Kentucky the daughter of Raymond and Annie (Evans) Lamb. She and Paul Scott were united in marriage on October 5, 1940, sadly he preceded her in death on July 15, 1997. Zona was a strong and devoted woman. She loved spending time with her family and friends. In her free time, she loved to sing, play guitar, piano and the fiddle. She also enjoyed reading and cooking.
Left to cherish her memory are children: Gerald (Sandra) Scott, Ronald (Lana) Scott, Ken (Joanne) Scott, Paul (Bobbie) Scott and Gary (Susan) Scott; brother, Harold Eugene Lamb; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and special friend, Melba.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul, son, Raymond Dale, daughter, Carolyn Pease, daughter-in-law, Irene, brothers, Ray and Nolan Lamb and sister, Christell.
