Obituary of Andrew J. LeBeau
Andrew J. LeBeau, age 88, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Flushing, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at McLaren-Flint. The Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at SS Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Fr. Ken Caughlin officiating with burial to follow at Sunset Hills. Andrew’s family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris on Tuesday, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm; Tuesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather to pray the Rosary at 7:00 pm. On Wednesday morning, Andrew will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
Andrew was born April 30, 1929, in Green Bay, Wisconsin the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Emerentine (Forgette) LeBeau. He was married to Betty Brayton for 37 years. Sadly, Betty preceded him in death on January 8, 2011. Andrew was a truck driver for Boutell Driveaway for 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was a 3rd-degree member of the Knights of Columbus Clio Council 13703. In his free time, Andrew enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, hunting, fishing in Alaska, dancing, and singing in the Schalamar Creek Choir in Florida. He also loved watching the Green Bay Packers.
Left to cherish his memory, daughter, Paulette Vanier, and son, Bryan LeBeau; six grandchildren: Dion Miller, Ernest (Rayanna) Vanier, Jr., Eric (Laura) Vanier, Tonya Mandich, Tim Farver, and Tenielle Farver; 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Nancy Viau, niece, Cheryl Johnson, nephew, Michael Viau, cousins, and friends.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, son Bruce Miller, daughter Pamela Farver, and his granddaughter Katherine Lynn Vanier.
