Bob was born November 14, 1956, in Saginaw, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Malrey (Brown) Collier. He graduated from Akron-Fairgrove Schools with the class of 1975. Bob and Cathy Wark were united in marriage on March 22, 1997, in Defiance, Ohio. He worked for General Motors on the assembly line for many years before retiring in 2000. Bob had a fascination with antiques and old relics. Growing up he started to go into the woods and dig for old glass bottles. From there, he went on to like classic cars and gas pumps. He was a handy man, always collecting and fixing up antiques, from windmills, gas pumps, milk pumps and motors. Bob was always willing to teach the tricks of his trade. He spent a lot of time traveling, looking for garage sales, flea markets and car swap meets. He also enjoyed watching the sun rise every morning. He will be greatly missed by many.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Cathy Collier; three children: Cody Collier (Stephanie Nagy,) Ed Neal III, and Shawn Neal; two sisters: Barbara (Doug) Ahrens and Carolyn Rapson; his two dogs: Sofie and Phoebe; many brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John and one sister.
