Obituary of Clair Joseph Love
Age 45, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Port Huron, died Friday, June 23, 2017, at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. A funeral celebrating Clair’s life will take place 6:00 pm, Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services- Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Clair was born July 10, 1971, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Eugene and Eva (Tenniswood) Love. He graduated from Port Huron High School. Clair and Diane were united in marriage on December 1, 2003, in Flint. Clair worked for American Axle MSP Industries as a press operator. In his free time, Clair enjoyed fishing, cooking on the grill, playing with his tools, watching Cops or The Three Stooges, and he loved talking and telling jokes. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife: Diane Love; son: DeWayne Holdridge; mother: Eva Love; one brother and two sisters: Jimmy (Tammy) Love, Tammie (Jeff) McPherson, Debbie (Robert) Harding and Penny Tenniswood; and best bud: Mike Davis.
Clair was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Scott and Erwin, four nephews, Josh, Joey, Adam and Johnathon, and uncle Larry.
