Obituary of Lloyd Gerald Stamm
Age 84, of Linden, formerly of Wolverine, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at home surrounded by his family. A funeral celebrating Lloyd’s life will take place 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services- Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Lloyd was born May 2, 1933, the son of Mr. & Mrs. John and Beatrice Stamm. He graduated from Arenac Eastern High School. Lloyd went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He worked for General Motors as a pipefitter. Lloyd and Carol Ealy were united in marriage on February 16, 1991, in Fenton. In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and Classic Cars.
He is survived by his wife: Carol; three children: Patricia (Steve) Clontz, Jeffery Stamm and Gregory Stamm; four step-children: Teresa, Marcia, Bradley, and Amanda; six grandchildren: Jeremy, Janice, Kimber, Steven, Tom and Nikki; seven step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters: Charles, George, James, Lydia and Joyce.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann (Knoll), parents, and daughter, Janice Kaye Stamm.
