Obituary of James "Jim" Reynolds

Age 74, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born on September 30, 1942, in Flint, MI.  On March 1, 1982, he married Nancy Ehler.  Jim retired in 1992 after spending 30 years with General Motors. Jim loved hunting, fishing, gardening and wood working.  He also loved to read, play cards and play games with his wife, children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed picking berries with his grandchildren.  He also had a knack for telling the “story” of his life.

Jim suffered a stroke in 2014.  Surviving are wife Nancy Reynolds, Daughters Annette Reynolds, Anita (Mike) Gilbert, Vickie (Dave) Wenzlick, Sandy (Ken) Anderson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Gus and Mary Reynolds, his sister Mary Ann and his best friend Joe.

A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for family and friends at Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Michigan.  Friends and family may also gather with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.  John Wilson will be officiating. Jim will be laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris.
