Obituary of Helen Agnes Coultes

Helen Agnes (Heckman) Coultes, Age 92, Passed away, Monday, April 17, 2017, at Heartland HealthCare Center-Fostrian in Flushing. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation and Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. Randy Schultz to officiate with burial to follow in Capac Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 24, 2017, from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Helen was born October 8, 1924, in Capac, to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Bertha (Gottschalk) Heckman. Helen attended Shutt County School and graduated from Capac High School with the class of 1942. Helen worked at a Local Plastics Factory for ten years, and General Motors Ternstedt Division, as a machine operator, for over 37 years, before retiring in 1992. She and Freeman G. Coultes were united in marriage on October 23, 1948. Together they were blessed with one son, Ronald L. Coultes. Helen enjoyed planting vegetables in her garden at home, going shopping, and most importantly spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her Son, Ronald L. Coultes; several grandchildren, Great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, husband Freeman G. Coultes, a daughter, a granddaughter, a brother, and two sisters.
