Obituary of Gary Franklin Locke

Gary Locke, Age 70, of Mount Morris, died Friday, April 7, 2017, at his home in Mount Morris. In accordance with Gary's wishes a graveside committal ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 2:00 pm in Meadowview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Herb Smith to officiate. Gary was born February 12, 1947, in Flint, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Hanley and Gwendola (Williams) Locke. Gary was a family driven man who would do anything for his loved ones; he will be missed dearly by many people. He was well known as a man of many accomplishments with a passion for learning new skills throughout his life. He worked as a Millwright for 30 years at Fabricating Engineers and General Motors. Gary furthered his education by attending Barber College and become a barber for over 15 years after retirement. Throughout his adult life, Gary enjoyed bringing a smile to many people by performing as a clown for numerous events and family functions. He was also a talented musician who could play multiple instruments and played with several bands over the years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Suzanne (Roberts), Locke; Daughter: Sara Stanton; Son: Kenny, and wife, Stephanie Boulton; two grandchildren: Ethan and Brandley Boulton; five brothers; three sisters; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
