Obituary of Michael "Mike" "Spike" Allen Hoover

Age 58, of Flint, died, Tuesday, March 21, 2017, peacefully in the comforting care of his sister, Mura. A funeral service celebrating Michaels’s life will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 1:00 pm. Chaplin Russ Sommer will be officiating with burial to follow in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Mike was born November 14, 1958, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Herbert and Shirley (Westphal) Hoover. He graduated from Beecher High School. Mike worked for Radiator Daves for many years. He enjoyed his free time with his family and close friends. Mike will be greatly missed. He is survived by five brothers and sisters: Calvin Hoover, Mura (Jack) Klopf, Herbert (Sherry) Hoover, Sandra Ostrander, and Jerry (Brenda) Hoover; daughter: Alisha; two grandchildren: Tessa and Davian; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
