Obituary of John Andrew Miller, Jr.

Age 65, of Flint, died, Monday, March 20, 2017, at his home. A funeral service celebrating John’s life will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 1:00 pm. Reverend John Montney will be officiating with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Bikin’ For Burns. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. John was born November 13, 1951, the son of John and Frances (Burley) Miller Sr. He married his high school sweetheart, Susan Wilson on October 24, 1970, in Flint. Sadly, she predeceased him in 2015. He worked for Sears in the service department for many years. John belonged to the Flint Chapter Harley Club and was a life member. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, traveling and going to auctions. John loved spending his time up north and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. Left to cherish his memory, two grandchildren: Logan and Landon Miller; three sisters: Beth (Paul) Zamarripa, Cyndi (Jr.) Trevino, and Tina Harburn; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Stephanie (Gale) Conarton, Frederick C. (Cathy) Wilson, Gregg (Patty) Wilson, and Karen (Scot) Coons; many nieces, nephews, friends and adopted daughter Donna Brantley. John was preceded in death by his wife Susan, parents John and Frances Miller, father and mother-in-law Fred and Bonnie Wilson.
