Obituary of Judy K. Letson

Judy K. Letson, Age 73, of Reese, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at McLaren-Bay. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church. Pastor Penny Parkin to officiate with burial to follow at Gilford Township Cemetery. Judy's family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove on Tuesday, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Wednesday morning, Judy will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Judy was born July 22, 1943, in Fairgrove, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Esther (Jurk) Haske. She married Ervin Letson on September 9, 1961, in Gilford. In her free time, Judy enjoyed crossword puzzles, camping, and spending time in Prudenville. She especially loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory; husband, Ervin; son: Michael (Dawn) Letson; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four siblings: Jean Maurer, Robert (Chris) Haske, Donald (Jacquine) Haske, and Beverly (Pat) Enos; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Henry (Charlotte) Haske, Ralph (Joy) Haske, Ron (Linda) Haske, Everett Haske, and sister-in-law Sharon Thoms.
