Obituary of Naomi LaDonna Hart

Naomi LaDonna (Smith) Hart, Age 83, of Clio, died peacefully surrounded by her family, at home on Friday, March 10, 2017. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Martin Funeral Cremation & Tribute Services-Mt. Morris. Pastor Jim Salo to officiate with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, and on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring to make memorial contributions in Naomi's memory may direct them towards the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mrs. Hart was born January 6, 1934, in Curtis, Michigan to the late Henry and Emeline (LeLine) Smith. She graduated from Roscommon High School with the class of 1953. She and Ron Hart were united in marriage on December 20, 1954. In _____She and Ron Moved to Their home in Thetford Township to raise their two sons, Ron and Phil. Naomi worked for General Motors-Turnstedt Division until taking on her role as a full-time mother and homemaker. She enjoyed comforting her friends and family by opening up her home, and heart whenever she had the chance. She also enjoyed cooking, reading western novels, and spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her Husband, Jay Hart; two sons: Ron Hart, Phil and wife, Kim Hart; sister, Edith Germain; two brothers: Jim Smith, and Dale Essner; nieces and nephews: Tammy, Doug, Wanda, Donald, Darlene, Edie Mae, James, Rosie, Geraldine, Elaine, and Brenda; Numerous cousins, extended family and friends. She is welcomed to heaven by her parents, siblings Wilber Smith, Virginia Hadd, and Marie Sharp, two nephews, Eddie, and Gary, and niece Sherry.
