Obituary of Peggy Lee Blake

Peggy Lee Blake, age 67, of Frankenmuth, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw. In accordance with Peggy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Peggy’s life will be held Friday, March 10, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Peggy was born February 4, 1950, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Orby and Myrtle (Drews) Blake. She graduated from Elizabeth Ann Johnson High School in Mt. Morris with the class of 1968. In her free time, Peggy enjoyed playing Bingo, gambling at the casino, playing card games, watching movies, and reading. She also liked to fish, bowl, and take vacations at the family cabin up north. In her adult life, Peggy was a sponsor for A.A. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Terry (Melissa) Bishop, Troy Bishop and fiancé Darlene Cox, and special daughter Vicki (Bill) May; brother, Edmund Zovishlack; three grandchildren: Tristan Bishop, Baileah Bishop, and Teagan Bishop; brother, Dale Blake; step-brother Dana (Mary-Ann) Zovishlack; and step-sister Diane (Rick) Cherry. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Edmund; father, Orby Blake; siblings: Ellyn McGarry, Raymond Blake, Beverly Stevens, Orby Blake, and Christine Adkinson.
