Obituary of Glen A Hope

age 85, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Cremation has taken place. Glen’s family will be present at Martin Funeral Home-Mt. Morris to receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the contributor’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Glen was born October 17, 1931, in Flint, MI, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Laura (Carlson) Hope. Glen and Doris Bennett were united in marriage in 1950 in Flint, MI. He worked as a carpenter with his brothers before working for Roadway Express as a truck driver. Glen was a long-time member of the Croation Club. In his free time, Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. In his youth, Glen enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He liked woodworking, building many things, and working. Left to cherish his memory: wife, Doris Hope; son-in-law: Ron Seidl; and many nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, children, Rick Hope, Teryl Seidl, and Jed Hope, brothers and sisters, Wayne, Kenny, Garnet, Loraine, and Ralph.
