Obituary of Mary J. Konoski

Mary J. Konoski, age 79, of Mt. Morris, died Friday, December 2, 2016, at her home in Mt. Morris. A funeral service will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Mt. Morris on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Mrs. Konoski was born April 8, 1937, in Flint, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Gordon and Angeline (Slama) Isaac. She and Dallas Konoski were united in marriage in November of 1955, in Flint. Together they shared 61 years together. Mary was an active member of the Moose Lodge #1437-Flushing. She and Dallas owned D&M Ceramics in Mt. Morris until 1984. Mary enjoyed cooking and baking, airbrushing and painting in her free time. she also enjoyed playing cards with her husband and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her; husband, Dallas Konoski; daughter, Dena McCullough; grandchildren: Lisa McCullough and John “JD” McCullough; Great granddaughter, Sophia McCullough; brother, Frank Isaac; sister, Frances Winslow; and good friend, James McCullough. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Gordon Isaac, and Thomas Isaac.
