Obituary of Darlene Aurand

Age 68, of Flint, died Thursday, November 24, 2016. The funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2016, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris; with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Darlene’s family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday, to receive friends from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Darlene was born June 15, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, she is the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Earl and the Mozzell (Bean) Eatmon. She married Larry Aurand at his parent’s home in Burton on February 14, 1994. She worked as a seamstress at Superior Textiles in Flint for many years. She was a loving, kind and caring woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are, her husband Larry; two sons: Earnest (Wanda) Burris and Rodney (Amy) Burris; five stepchildren: Suzette (Lou) Deisler, Melanie (Kurt) Hallwood, Chuck (Jenny) Aurand, Julie (Patrick) Mitts, and Sarah Aurand; her brother Robert Earl Eatmon; numerous grandchildren, special friend, Margaret Henderson, and her dog, Rocky; and many other family members and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and her father and mother in-law.
