Harold E. Lee, age 65, of Flint died Wednesday, October 4, 2016. The funeral service will take place at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Michael McCluskey will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Harold’s family will be present at the funeral home on Friday to receive friends from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm; on Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
Harold was born May 8, 1951, in Flint, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Pearl (Culp) Lee. He married Sandra Ford on October 3, 1970, in Mt. Morris. Harold served in the United States Army until receiving his honorable discharge. He worked skilled trades for General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1999. Harold had a love for cars, he was well known for body restoration. When he wasn’t restoring a car he was thinking about his next project. He also enjoyed sitting in his garage, listening to hard rock, watching racing, bonfires and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 46 years, Sandra Lee; two daughters: Stephanie (Jason) Jones and Amanda (Holly) Ford; son, Harold II (Aimee) Lee; seven grandchildren: Dylan, Charli, Jason, Jadelynn, Austin, Cody, and Kaylea; great-granddaughter, Hopelynn; sister, Shirley (Brady) Dykes; brother, Roy (Carolyn) Lee; and many other family members and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings Victor, Rita, Juanita, and Avis.
Harold’s children would like to extend a special thank you to their mom for taking such great care of their dad.
