Obituary of Hollie Gene Fisher

Age 41, of Vassar, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital. A funeral service will take place at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Vassar, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the funeral service in Tuscola Township Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring to make memorial contributions in Hollie’s memory may direct a cash donation to Hollie’s family, envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the Vassar Eagles #2380. Hollie was born and raised in Vassar, to Mr. & Mrs. Bernard and Susan (Symon) Fisher. She was locally educated, graduating from Vassar High School. Most recently Hollie worked as a Dialysis Technician for Reliant Renal Care and as a Direct Care Worker for Healthcare at Home, and Fulton Nursing Home. When Hollie was not working, she enjoyed spending time with her three daughters: Brooke, Paige, and Madelynn. Shopping was also one of Hollie’s passions, whether it was for herself or for her family, she could always find a good deal. She also enjoyed going to the beach to have a good time, and loved dancing to country music. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Brooke Germain, Paige Germain, and Madelynn LaPratt; her parents; two sisters: Kelli Fisher Wescoat, and Heather Fisher Miller; grandmother, Glois Symon; three nephews, Tyler Bender, Ryan Bender, and Austin Wescoat; close aunt, Kathy Dezelah; close cousin, Michelle Dezelah; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Zachary Germain, grandfather, James Symon, and grandparents, Eugene & Francis Fisher.
