Obituary of Paul Edward Williams

Age 49, of Vassar died Monday, September 12, 2016, at his home in Vassar. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Vassar. Pastor Doug Abel to officiate with burial of Paul’s cremated remains in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Mr. Williams was born December 24, 1966, in Saginaw to Mr. & Mrs. John & Georgene (Stewart) Williams. Most recently he was employed by Blasius Inc. and Vassar Collision, as an automotive mechanic. Paul attended Vassar High School, graduating with the class of 1985. He would further his education at Delta College, where he received his Associate Degree in Automotive Technology. Paul enjoyed the fixing anything broken, working on cars, and cracking jokes with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by many people. Left to cherish his memory are his parents; sister, Karen (Williams) and husband, Ron Opperman; aunts and uncles: Evart and Cheryl Stewart, Steve and Pam Aranyos, Greg and Lisa Aranyos, and Jim and Penny Rooks; two nephews: Grant, and Nolan; two nieces: Hillary, and Hannah; special cousin, Tracey, and several other cousins. He was preceded in death by his special aunt, Mary Streeter, and uncle, Larry Streeter.
