Obituary of Gertrude G. Ryerson

Gertrude was born August 4, 1918 in Olympia, Washington the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa and May (Hursh) Maxson. She and Donald Ryerson were united in marriage in January 5, 1934. He preceded her in death November 21, 2001. Gertrude was an active member of the Fountain of Grace, Assembly of God Church in Mt. Morris. She worked as a waitress most of her life for various restaurants as well as at Mt. Morris Schools.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children; Nancy and husband Jerry Rancour, Donna and husband Thomas Bully, Linda and husband Brad McCormick, Sheila and husband Ray Yeager,
Terry Ryerson, 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, a brothers and three sisters, Norma Gibbs, Jeanne and husband Bernie Johnson Rosie and husband Clarence Moorehouse, Dick and wife Gwen Maxson, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald, four children; Frances, David, Thomas and Doug, brothers and sisters; Grant, Arlene, Dorothy, Junior, Jack, Donald and Robert.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Gertrude
