I will miss you Uncle Albert. Your patience with me every summer as I tried to get up on one ski has made me a better Mom as I do the same for my boys. Your softness and closeness with my Grandma taught me the value of having a sister and how important in your life they will always be no matter if you are married or not. I will miss our talks on BCBSM health care rates. Although you never said it, I knew by your actions how important we "your family" were all to you and for that I will CHERISH you forever.

Dear Karr Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Karr's (Al's) passing. Higgins Lake will not be the same without him. Dave and I will miss our dock neighbor and visiting with him. Seems like I've known your family forever, we have a lot of great memories and good laughs with all of you. Especially Vicki telling her Dad, oh don't worry about it...."It" being something we were probably not supposed to be doing ;0). He was always so nice !! Dear Vicki and family, Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you and your family for the loss of your father. Losing my dad just a few months ago is still so painful. Your dad found the will and strength to come to his funeral and I will forever treasure that. I can't remember Vassar without the truck stop and Al filling up my moms car because she didn't know how to pump gas. Haha! He was the face of Vassar and will forever be missed in his community.
