Obituary of George A. Arnett

Age 57, of Flint, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral service will take place 2:00 pm Friday, June 24, 2016, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Genesee Twp. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to George’s family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. George was born January 30, 1959, in Clio, to the late Mr. and Mrs. George and Gertrude (Harrington) Arnett. He and Susan Hauser were married for 17 years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing guitar, working on cars, and listening to rock-n-roll. He was a very creative person and could be found tinkering on a new project often. Left to cherish his memory are wife: Susan Arnett; children: Sirius Arnett, Amber and husband, Joe Boesler, and Anthony Guest; siblings: Sandy Baumgart, Dianna Conner and significant other, Derald Horn, Danis Arnett, Bonnie and husband, Barry Dues and Donna and husband, Charles Attardi and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leo “Robbie” Cole, Robert Arnett, and James “Jimmy” Dart.
