To Rodney's wife and family,
I was sad o hear of Rodney's passing. I met him in the sandbox when I was five and we have been friends since then. I will miss him greatly, but will always remember him with joy in my heart. He was a very kind, loving man. I am happy to say he was my friend. We had many wonderful times as children. We played baseball, football, basketball, and hockey in Mr. Richardson's field. We rode dirt bikes and minibikes together and went sledding and camping together. I can't think of my childhood and not think of Rodney. I know he was a huge presence in your lives and a big space in my heart.
God Bless you at this time and always.
Love Dean and Cynthia Totten

I received with mixed emotions the news of Rodney's passing today. Saddened by the loss, and happy there is no doubt he was welcomed in to the gates of heaven.
Rodney was a caring man who lived his faith with sincerity. In high school, like others who attended the Mennonite Church on Mount Morris Road, he was a unassuming true leader and walking example of his faith.
Easy to laugh, always caring, and incredibly strong. Yes, strong. Rodney never complained of his medical battle, while always putting others first.
God Bless Rodney's Family in this time of loss.....and celebration.

Denise,
I am so very sorry. Words can not express my sadness. I wish I was there just to sit with you and help you in anyway I could. I know Rod is in heaven right now. He is probably jogging as I know he had to give this up and he really enjoyed it. I will miss his laugh and smile.
He made you laugh and smile and that was a blessing. He will continue to watch over you and be in your heart.
My prayers are with you.
Love
Rhena
