Obituary of Eleanor Hurry

Age 93, of Alger, formerly of Clio, died April 23, 2016 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, in Hudson, Florida. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, July 30, 2016, at the Secord Lake Eagles 4121. Eleanor was born November 11, 1922, in Saginaw, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Verna (Ruddiman) Bennett. She worked for General Motors as an Office Clerk for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Neeley-Labar Post 158 and a previous member of the Red Hat Society and Eastern Stars. In her free time Eleanor enjoyed going out to dinner with her friends and was always dressed to impressed. She also enjoyed attending church, playing cards and going to bingo. Left to cherish her memory are son: John and wife, LouAnn Hurry; many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by parents and her husband, John.
