Age 82, of Clio, died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at this home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Anthony’s family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Genesee Twp. on Tuesday, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Anthony will be taken to the church to lie in state on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am. Anthony was born January 15, 1934, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Mary (Smigiel) Fisher. He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. He worked at General Motors for 44 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3609 Aerie in Clio and UAW Local 659. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting partridge, and camping. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Doleres Arndt and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Paige.
