James "Joe" Duquette
1936 - 2009
Of Clio, age 72, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Alonzo Vincent will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm. Then on Sunday from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. James "Joe" was born May 3, 1936 in Mt. Morris, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Gladys (Shampine) Duquette. Joe was employeed at GM for 30 years before retiring in 1985. Joe was a member of UAW Local #659 and a member of the Clio Eagles. He leaves to cherish his memory three children, Richard, Daniel (Lou) and Denise (Guy); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Sally. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Joe and brother Bill.
