Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Trarop

Sharon Trarop, age 68, of Mt. Morris went home to the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2016. A Memorial Service conducted by the Order of the Eastern Stars OES #474 will begin at 6:00 pm, on Friday, April 29, 2016, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Twp. Immediately following, a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin, Pastor Bruce Billings officiating. Sharon’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday, from 2:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the Mt. Morris Methodist Church or to the Mt. Morris Masonic Scholarship Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Sharon was born February 12, 1948, in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Pete and Phyllis (Sherman) Smith and step-father, Stanley Robert Evans, Sr. She graduated from Beecher High School, Class of 1966. Sharon and William Fred Trarop were united in marriage on June 24, 1967, in Flint. She worked at Country Fresh Dairy in Flint as the office manager for 30 years, retiring in 2007. She was also an active member of the Eastern Stars and Mt. Morris Methodist Church. In her free time, Sharon loved cooking, entertaining company around the pool, gardening, reading, vacationing in Hilton Head South Carolina, with family and loved ones. Left to cherish her memory, her husband William Fred Trarop; son, Anthony Michael Trarop, granddaughters: Chantelle (Benjamin) Wilcox, Christina (Tyler Watts) Trarop and their mother Michele (Michael) Williams; brothers: Michael Robert (Barbara) Evans, and Stanley Robert (Judy) Evans, Jr.; sister-in-law, June Okoneski; and many loved nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. Sharon’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Eastern Stars and the Mt.
