Obituary of Gregory Scott Clardy

Gregory “Greg” Scott Clardy, age 51, of Flint, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at his home. In accordance with Gregory’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled at this time. Greg was born November 10, 1964, in Elgin, Illinois. He was educated locally at Beecher High School. He worked at Denny’s Restaurant in Flint and Rochester Hills for many years, and worked for Export Corporation in Brighton for 15 years. In Greg’s free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching NASCAR and sports, and fishing. Left to cherish his memory, son, Scott (Jessica) Clardy and his mother, Shelly Alexander; four grandchildren: Hayden, Kyilee, Adalynn and Tristan; brother, Steven Clardy; three sisters: Lori Clardy, Barbara (Joanie Lund) Clardy, and Marion (Roderick) Mundy; five nieces: Amber (Kevin) Lewis, Amanda Clardy, Hannah Clardy, Angie Wilson, and Theresa Sheppard; great-niece, Angel Lewis and great-nephew, Jameson Lewis; and special friend, John Kolena. Gregory was preceded in death by his father Carlos “Glen” Clardy, stepfather and mother, Richard and Judith Schaffer, and his brother Donald Clardy.
