Obituary of William Henry Cromwell

Age 75, of Clio, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at his home. A funeral service will be held at the Martin Funeral Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Township at 10:00 am Saturday, March 26, 2016. William’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday morning from 9:00 am until time of service. William was born on May 12, 1940, in Genesee County, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Minnie (White) Cromwell. He and Sharon Garant were united in marriage on October 19, 1960, in Flint. He worked as a contractor in the construction industry before retiring in 2007. In his free time, he enjoyed farming, playing poker, gardening and spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Sharon; children: Blenda Cromwell, Clides and wife, Jana Cromwell, Kevin and wife, June Cromwell and Arminda and husband, Ryan Swanton; grandchildren: Kayla and husband, Jon Beck, Andrew and wife, Amanda Cromwell, Troy Cromwell, Heather and husband, Jose Gaige, Alan Cromwell and Derek Cromwell; great grandchildren: Cannan, Hunter, Ezekiel, Vincent, Chase, and Kensie; brothers: Tom, Jim and Jack; sisters: Kathy, Mary and Bernice; many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bob, Fred and Dick, sisters: Velma and Dorothy.
