Obituary of Teresa Hanners

Teresa Hanners, age 49, of Flint died Wednesday, March 16, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Twp. at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 24, 2016. Teresa’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday, from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Teresa was born November 23, 1966, in Flint, the daughter of Bruce and the late Janet (Clark) Mills. Teresa loved spend time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren, listening to music, dancing, spending time outdoors, playing cards and board games. She also like watching Law & Order. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Glen; four children: Andy (Stephanie), Ashley, Alesha (Joseph) and Aaron; three grandchildren: Annalisa, Adam and Amelia; father Bruce; brother Doug; sister Tracy; three nieces: Chrissy (Jimmy), Randyl, and Robin; five nephews: Mike (Ashley), Danny, Kyle, Bryce and Logan; two great-nieces: Felicia (Aaron), MaKenna, and MaKenna; three great-nephews: Curtis (Courtney), Michael, and Mason; in-laws: Danny and Virgie Hanners; Dan, Stan, Reah, Kathy (Bobby), Sandi Quick, close friends: Robert and Carol Usher. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Janet, sister Melody, good friend Medeea, uncle & aunt David and Mona Clark, and her grandparents.
