Obituary of William Jennings, Jr.

Age 49, of Clio, died Saturday, March 12, 2016. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Martin, Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Mt. Morris. The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm. Pastor Dan Pugh to officiate with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to an educational fund for William’s children. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mr. Jennings was born February 4, 1967, in Flint, Michigan. He is the son of William John Jennings, Sr. and Beverley Ann Peter. He served in the United States Marines and owned D&B Mechanical in Clio. William enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and U of M football. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nova (Rose) Jennings; three children: Connor, Hailey, and Carson Jennings; mother, Beverly and husband, James Bronson; father, Bill, Sr. and wife, Donna Jennings; three brothers: Robert and wife, Karmen Jennings, Jason and wife, Robin Schaffer, and Jason Jennings; sister-in-law, Summer and husband, Mike Meyer; brother-in-law, Robert and wife, Heather Powell; three uncles: Cliff and wife, Linda Peter, Larry and wife, Evelyn Jennings, and Danny and wife, Ava Jennings; two nephews: Logan and Sam Jennings; and four nieces: Aaliyah Schaffer, Annabelle Schaffer, McKenzie DeLatorre, and Megan Tankersley. William was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Erma Peter, and Lorenzo and Ethel Jennings; and uncle, Bernie Jennings.
