RIP George. I will miss our talks. I'm glad that we meet at the gun club and am grateful for all your help with my shooting. I learned a lot from you and as always you were so calm and helpful. It doesn't seem fair for you to have to leave so soon but I know your in a better place. Thank you for all that you have done for so many.

George, I will miss you...you were a favorite of mine. I prayed for you and your family daily, you will be missed by all of us at Big Boy, I will still continue to remember you, it will be hard not to think of you on Saturday and Sunday as we always awaited your arrival with coffee ready buddy....RIP..the pain is over my friend..so very sorry for your loss, sad for the loss of our dear friend

George 'J.R.' was a wonderful source of encouragement and support for my son Hayden. When Hayden showed enthusiasm for shooting, my husband was grateful to find J.R. and the Genesee Sportsman's Club. J.R. had a friendly, relaxed manner that made us feel welcome, even though we were outsiders to the sport. He offered Hayden a lot of advice and encouragement that strengthened his confidence and love of the sport. I am grateful that J.R. dedicated his time to sharing his skills with the kids. We will miss him as a coach and friend. I'm certain much of what he taught will be passed on for generations by the many kids he has guided over the years.
