Obituary of Jean Minnie

Age 75, of Flint, died Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. The funeral service will take place 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Genesee Township. Jean’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jean was born May 13, 1940, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ralph and Mary (Peters) Trombley. She and Gerald Minnie were united in marriage on November 8, 1963. Sadly, Gerald preceded her in death on November 17, 1996. Jean was a funny and outgoing lady. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the casino, camping, bingo, puzzles, and traveling with her husband and friends, Cheryl and Ted. Left to cherish her memory are: her children; Deborah Roberts and husband, Mark, Robert Minnie, and Frederic Minnie, grandchildren; Gerald Persails, Jr., Tina Persails, and Mark Minnie, great-grandchildren; Meagan Persails and Gerald Persails III, sister, Ruth Hayes and best friends, Ted and Cheryl Persails. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gerald Minnie.
