We are saddened to know about Robert's passing. Back in the 1960s I got to know Mr. Eid at the University of Michigan and as a collague in the Beecher School District of Flint,Michigan.
Mr. Eid had the reputation being a hard worker,expected full responsibility of himself and others while supporting Christian values. His standards for students were high expectations and sometimes more than the average student wanted to achieve. Yet many dedicated students,teachers and parents honored and respected his position.
These values of Mr. Eid, of my parents and many of yours from the "Old Country" or "Old School", I believe, are getting harder to find in the United States.
I am the first one to take this lesson from his life.
