Obituary of Jimmy William Lefler

Of Otisville, age 61, died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon, Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and Thursday morning from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the charity of their choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jimmy was born February 4, 1948 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Irene (Sari) Lefler. He and Rebecca Lefler were united in marriage July 7, 1984. Jimmy attended Mt. Morris High School, graduated with the class of 1966. Jimmy worked for AC Spark Plug retiring in 1995, after 30 years of employment. Jimmy was a member the American Legion Post #321 in Otisville, Davison Eagles Aerie #3589 and VFW Post #4087 of Davison. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Rebecca; three children; Tony (Jan) Lefler, Jason Lefler and Chris Olmstead; two grandchildren; Trevor Olmstead and Gauge Lefler, his mother; Irene Lefler and his sister, Marlene Bolla. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd, and brother-in-law, John Bolla.
