Obituary of Violet Marie Glynn-Licavoli (Loomis)

Of Millington, age 87, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Covenant Health Care. A funeral mass will take place Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 11:00 am, at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar. Father Richard Jozwiak to officiate with burial to follow in Millington Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2016, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Vassar from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Violet will lie in state at church on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of mass at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Violet was born May 24, 1928 in Taymouth Township, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ola and Ione (Powell) Loomis. She and Salvatore were united in marriage June 27, 1970. Violet enjoyed to travel to Hawaii. Left to cherish her memory her children Charles Glynn and significant other Judy Marx, and Donna Glynn and significant other Ignacio Godina, step children Frank Salvatore and wife Angela Licavoli, Peter M. and wife Mary Jo Licavoli, Vincent and wife Brenda Licavoli, Julia Kay Licavoli-Rohrmann and husband Rodney Rohrmann, Sam and wife Luann Licavoli, and Thomas Patrick Licavoli and wife Terry Kay Barton, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, special nieces, nephews, family and friends. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Charles Glynn and Sam Licavoli.
