I first met Ron way back in the 1960's when Jay Perryman and I stayed at the Comers on the west side of Flint. The last time we met was at the Highlands in 2008 when my wife and I had to move her mother out and into an extended care facility.
Ron and I had a somewhat similar early childhood and now that he is gone I am happy he had the good fortune to enjoy life and have a family to care for and to love. Jim and Jay Perryman and I lived at Potter lake for a time and I was lucky to know their
father as it was he who helped me get into AC Spark Plug when I was twenty years old.
I now spend winters in Arizona so even though I cannot be there to say farewell I offer my most sincere condolences to the family and will keep good thoughts for Ron and his family.

Ron, the brother I never had. We worked together, laughed and cried,sang and danced. It was so great to have known you and appreciated all your abilities. Whether working on my broke down earth mover to the electronics of amplifiers you were tops. I am sick I cannot be there for your family in person as I'm in Nevada for the winter. Ron first played bass with me in the Highlands barn then at Eastside Seniors featuring Five Foot Two. His true love of classic rock is known and Becky knew all the lyrics. Playing music and working with Ron bonded us together. Becky and family a big hug comes from Bonnie and me. Ron was always a "Sharp Dressed Man ". Love and prayers. Vern
