Obituary of Evelyn Wolverton

Of Mt. Morris, age 81, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Hurley Hospital. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Friday, December 18, 2015 at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, on Friday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Evelyn was born July 26, 1934, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen and Thelma (Parish) Sheldon. After school, she went on to own and operate B&E Ceramics, where she enjoyed teaching the art of ceramics. After running her own business for many years she went on to work and retire from for TRW Automotive. Evelyn loved her grandchildren more than anything. Her favorite saying was “I hate peace and quiet”. She was a beautiful and loving woman, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory her children: John and wife Julie Wolverton, Karen Nowosislosky, Theresa and husband Jim Walters, Sandra and husband Martin Hnatiuk, Christopher and wife Tammy Wolverton, and Robin Paquette; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother Guy Sheldon; Sister Sue Harkey, and many nieces, nephews and a special thanks to her friends Pam and husband Mike King, Jessie and wife Debbie Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by the love of her life John Wolverton, parents, brothers: Bob, Johnny and Bill, and her sister Audrey.
