Obituary of Chris Allen Gibbs

Age 54, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. In accordance with Chris’ wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Chris was born January 26, 1961 in Flint. He proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Army. Chris was united in marriage to Nena (Middleton) on October 21, 1989 in Flint, MI, and they were blessed with 26 years of marriage. He adored his wife and loved his family. Chris had outstanding radio equipment and diverse collection of music that he was very proud of he spent many years as a radio DJ on the Internet he loved it very much. In his free time he liked to relax and enjoyed watching football. Chris was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed by many. Left to cherish his memory his wife, Nena Garza-Gibbs; son Paul Garza; brother Terry Gibbs; sister Deborah Gibbs-Halm; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. he was preceded in death by his parents. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care.
