Obituary of Yvonne A. Bois

Of Clio, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 90, died Friday, May 8, 2009 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am, Monday, May 11, 2009 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. YvonneAaas family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm. On Sunday afternoon, family, friends and parish will gather at the funeral home for a Scriptural Rosary at 2:00pm. On Monday morning, Yvonne will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the North End Soup Kitchen. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Yvonne was born February 16, 1919 in Pinconning, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer and Gladys (Grandmaison) Valley. She and Earl Bois were united in marriage November 8, 1941. She worked as a dietician at Flint Osteopathic Hospital for many years. Yvonne was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris since age 9 and a member of their Altar Society. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and square dancing. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Patricia Bois of Mt. Morris, Brenda and husband Phil Merrill of Clio, Michael and wife Sharon Bois of Mt. Morris, Daniel and wife Kay Bois of Clio 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two sisters; Lorraine and husband Denny Denman of Davison and Theresa Rivett of Flint, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl and four brothers.
