Obituary of Grace Leona McCloy

passed away August 14, 2015 at her home in Bradenton, FL, with her family. Grace’s love of her life for 31 years, Cliff, has been waiting on a park bench for her for almost four years now. She is survived by her mom, Grace Steinetz-Guentensberger, 97, children from her previous marriage to Dick Griffith; Lynn Ohman and husband Mike, Susan Griffith, her children by marriage with John Clifford McCloy; Renee Sherd, Darryl McCloy & wife Joan, granddaughter Rochelle and husband to be Sean, six grandchildren by marriage with John, 14 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, cousin, Tim Guentensberger and two grand pups; Truffles & Mia. Grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Clifford McCloy, and grandson Logan who is playing in a tree with grandma. Grace was born February 8, 1940 in Owosso, MI to Leo & Grace Guentensberger. She grew up with Philip Luppo, her cousin, his children; Christina, Philip & Toni. She moved to Florida in 1985. Grace has always had a love for music. She belonged to the Temple Theatre Organ Club in Saginaw, MI and was a long time member of Manasota Theatre Organ Society in Sarasota, FL. She was loving, easy going, classy, loved to laugh and dance, was skilled artistically and loved to play euchre. Grace believed in the power of prayer. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2015 from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm, eat at noon. Casa Loma Trailer Park Hall in Bradenton, FL. A memorial service will be held August 29, 2015 at 10:00 am with visitation starting at 9:00 am at Martin Funeral Home, 5027 McLuney, Fairgrove, MI 48733, (810) 686-2210. Please send all flowers to the funeral home. Memorial lunch is at 11:30 am at Fritz Family Resturant, 9264 W. Saginaw Rd, Reese, MI 48757.
