Age 88 of Naples, Florida formerly of Mount Morris died Sunday, August 9, 2015, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services in Genesee Township. Toni Bravender will be delivering a eulogy. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Flint Memorial Park at a later date. Family will receive friends on Thursday, from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring to make memorial contributions may direct them to Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Juanita was born June 23, 1927, in Marmaduke, Arkansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Mattie (Rutledge) McPherson. She was united in marriage to Leon Eleazer on August 3, 1946. Juanita worked as a secretary for Beecher Schools for over 25 years retiring. She loved to cook remarkable meals for her family, gardening, and spend time with her four grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Stephen Eleazer and wife Joann, Susan and husband Kenneth Gaines, Melinda and husband Don Lemmon, four grandchildren; Stephanie Henry, Jason Eleazer, Abbie Lemmon, Maggie Lemmon, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Juanita’s family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver Sara.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon Eleazer, and brother Don McPherson.
