Obituary of Keith Alan Landskroener

Of Vassar age 58, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Pastor Robert Gadeken will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Michael’s School in Richville. Keith was born January 8, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Louise (Schmidt) Landskroener. Educated locally, he graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1975. Keith would go on to work as a mason until his retirement. Keith and Julie Koeppendoerfer were united in marriage on June 20, 1981, in Frankenmuth. Keith was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports. His favorite teams include the Michigan State Spartans, the Detroit Tigers and the Lions. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Julie; two children, Courtney and husband, Joey Callahan and Casey and wife, Maegan Landskroener; grandchildren, Ava, Addison, Kendyl, Cooper and Camden; brother, C. Wayne and wife, Mary Landskroener; sister, Joyce Batterbee; mother-in-law, Lorna Koeppendoerfer; and many nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents.
