Obituary of Alec Geary

Age 20, of Mt. Morris died Thursday, August 13, 2015. The funeral service will take place 4:00 pm, Monday, August 17, 2015, at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W Mt Morris Rd, Mt Morris, Michigan 48458; Pastor Bill Christensen and Pastor Don Dennis will officiate with cremation to follow. Alec’s family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services on Sunday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm. On Monday, Alec will be taken to church to lie in state from 3:00 pm until time of service at 4:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Alec was born June 22, 1995, in Flint the son of Mr. & Mrs. Kevin and Michele (Greening) Geary. Alec graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School in Mt. Morris, Class of 2013. While in high school Alec enjoyed playing football, weightlifting, hunting and fishing and singing in the high school choir his senior year. He worked for Young’s Environmental Cleanup in Flint. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Kevin and Michele Geary; brother Kevin “Zack” Geary; aunts and uncles: Barb (Fred) Tereau, Fredrick “Gus” (Dee) Greening, Stephany (Frank) Duarte, Michelle Wilson, Darren Geary, Rob (Denise) Morse, Ron (Sherry) Morse and Randy Morse; grandparents: Ilene Greening, Fred (Dee) Greening, and Donna Geary; and many special cousins and friends. Alec was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold, uncle Harold Geary and two special uncles: Earl and Jim Geary and special cousin John Stanley #732.
