Age 49 of Swartz Creek, died suddenly Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home. Funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, July 10, 2015 at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Grand Blanc. Chaplin Steve Hittle will officiate with burial to follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Service Grand Blanc, 8253 S. Saginaw Street Grand Blanc on Thursday, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the Family. Bill was born December 21, 1965, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley and (Joyce) McCallister) Hammond. He was employed by Citizens Bank in the maintenance department for 20 years, retiring in 2006. He would go on to work for GRBS as a maintenance supervisor. Bill is a 1984 graduate of Bendle High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family, spoiling his grandsons, bowling, traveling and going to the casino. Left to cherish his memory is his fiancée, Sally Wilcox; son, Kyle Hammond; daughters, Jessica and husband, Ryan Hendricks and Rose Brown; grandsons; Ryan and Bradyn; sisters, Tammy Hammond, Patricia Hammond, and Elizabeth Hammond and fiancé, Doug Fuller; brother, Wayne and wife, Jill Hammond; niece, Brianna; and nephews, Drew, Dan, Nick and Tom. He was preceded in death by his parents.
