Obituary of Patricia Schoenknecht

Age 68 of Reese, formerly of Frankenmuth, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at her home. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, June 26, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Twp. Mr. Mark Simms will officiate, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the Family or to the Reese Fire and Rescue. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Patricia was born March 25, 1947, in East Rainelle, West Virginia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Gertrude ( Bennett) Simms. She is a 1966 graduate of Kearsley High School. Patricia and Roger Mann were united in marriage on April 11, 1970. He preceded her in death. She would marry Floyd Schoenknecht on January 21, 1994. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, playing computer games and listening to all types of music. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Floyd; children, Christie and Jim Wood, Dr. Monica "Nikki" Mann and Tammy Danielson, Donna and Dan Wymer, Floyd Jr. and Heather Schoenknecht, and Renee and Josh Haines; ten grandchildren, Tyelor, Casey, Zack, Macey, Brandon, Wilbert, Wesley, Walden, Cameron, and Joanna; siblings, Verna and Terry LaMay, Edna Mae Brown;, Bob and Wilma Simms, Dub and Sharon Simms, Charles and Frances Simms; and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger and dear friend, Bea Beach.
