Obituary of Kathleen "Kathy" M. Taylor (Jackson)

of Clio left this earth Monday May 18, 2015, to be with the Lord. Funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Friday, May 22, 2015, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Township, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Deacon Ken Preiss will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clio Senior Center or the Clio Lions. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Kathy was born March 25, 1937, to Harris and Mavis Jackson in Flint, Michigan. She married Richard "Dick" Taylor on May 25, 1957, and they have lived most of their married life in Clio Michigan. She was active in the Clio Lions, Clio Senior Center, (crafters) and much more throughout the years. She enjoyed her family holidays and birthdays very much! Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Richard “Dick” Taylor; children Bruce Taylor (Tiffany Adams), Steve and Fran Taylor, and Karen Hull; grandchildren, Scott Taylor and Amy Hull; great-granddaughter, Melody Hull Roberts; many great brothers; sisters; and friends She was preceded in death by her parent’s; one brother; one sister; and her son in law.
